SLB Q2 2019 Report Available
The Softwood Lumber Board (SLB) recently published its 2019 Q2 Quarterly Report, which recaps the SLB’s progress in increasing demand for softwood lumber products and defending and growing markets. The SLB’s programs met and exceeded targets across the board and, in doing so, delivered benefits to the entire softwood lumber industry. In Q2 2019, SLB-funded programs generated 341 million board feet of incremental demand which represents a 16% increase over the same period last year. Year-to-date programs account for a total of 721 million board feet, representing 57% of the SLB’s 2019 goal.
